Meet Justin Hayes
Justin joins Rhine Law Firm as an associate attorney, bringing with him a unique perspective from his invaluable experience as a Judicial Fellow. In this role , Justin assisted trial court judges throughout North Carolina, helping them navigate some of their most complex civil and criminal cases.
His hands-on work with judges across multiple jurisdictions has provided him with a deep understanding of the judicial process—a benefit he now puts to use advocating for our clients.
A proud native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Justin is passionate about serving his local community. He completed his undergraduate studies at UNC Wilmington, earning his bachelor’s degree in history and graduating cum laude. After gaining practical business experience working for his family’s business, Justin furthered his education at UNC School of Law in Chapel Hill.

Outside of work, Justin leads an active and well-rounded lifestyle. He enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, preparing meals primarily influenced by his Southern roots. You might find him relaxing by the beach or a pool, hitting the weights at O2 Fitness, or cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels—especially during basketball season.
